According to Dagu's website, this restaurant has locations in four cities including in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Its menu focuses on many rice and noodle dishes and also lists many beverages. Please see my attached photos for the menus in November 2024. My husband and I have customers at this location for their teas, which are available in dozens of unique flavors. Most recently, my husband ordered a passionfruit-orange tea with popping boba. An employee promptly and politely served us. This restaurant has many tables for indoor dining. We got our tea to-go. The tea tasted really great.

Authentic rice noodles in Shadyside with delicious broth. The shrimp was delicious and the noodles were very well made.

As a Chinese-American, I was super excited about a rice noodle place opening up! Dagu Rice Noodle does a decent job with fair prices and decent dishes. The service was fine and seating is fast. I ordered the original Crossing the Bridge Noodle Soup with lamb, and I loved the presentation. The soup comes out hot, and the noodles come separate along with extra sides (cabbage, green onions, bamboo, etc). They also let you order a second serving of noodles at no extra charge, so I recommend getting the second noodles to go for a meal to-go!

Used to come here a lot so thought I'd stop in yesterday. Was quickly seated and they were fairly busy for lunch. I like how the walls tell you a bit about the food and history, I think it adds a nice touch. Ordered the salty crispy chicken app, it could've been deep fried a bit less since the chicken was not that juicy, it still hit my fried chicken craving. I also ordered the spicy crossing the bridge noodle soup, def on the spicier side of a normal spice dish so I loved it but be warned that it's similar to Sichuan spice. I got it with beef slices and I thought it added a nice touch. Also ordered the honeydew mojito (it's non alcoholic) and thought it was delicious. Overall, had a great lunch and will be stopping by again!

I love that the food comes in a sizzling pot. Because of this the broth is hot and flavorful. The noodles are bouncy and can get a little soft once you add them to the pot. The service is super quick and the waitress is very nice. The crispy chicken appetizer is a great snack and is very well seasoned. The tables are all very close together so you can kind of hear everyone around yous conversations though. Definitely will return again for this hot, large bowl of noodle soup!

Hello fellow Yelpers! We were so happy to see a rice noodle place crop up! One of us is from Hong Kong and we've tried Asian food around in China, Los Angeles, New York City, DC to name a few places and we have to say that this is Chinese style for sure and tastes AMAZING. These noodles match up the style that we've had in China pretty darn accurately. Warning: EAT IN if you want the best experience for the noodles. If you take home, though they do separate the noodles and soup, the noodles loose that perfect Al Dente chew that you get to control because in restaurant you can place it into the soup at your own pace. This is because the noodles end up steaming in the container on the way home and end up way softer. The portion is pretty decent and comes in a stone pot. The noodles are indeed spicy as well! The restaurant is nice and clean and matches the flavor that is sour and spicy just like you would get in China. The one star deduction is because the service (like many other Chinese restaurants) leaves something to be desired, you have to grab people for attention, they have some English speakers but mandarin is definitely the default. However they aren't mean or rude by any stretch, we'd say brave it and try something new! If you're looking for some authentic Chinese cuisine and a new experience definitely come on by and support here! The store is nice and clean and modern. The food is tasty, and the selection is huge with all things rice noodle. It's a unique experience for those who haven't had it and it's amazing that we have such an authentic taste in Pittsburgh! If you're craving any boba teas they have a large selection as well! Definitely stop by in the winter to warm your soul :) Thank you so much for reading, stay safe and well out there. Thanks for being...YOU! :)

The soup was nice and hot and very tasty. Great service. We also ordered bubble tea. They were not too sweet. Glad I found a place that sells good soy milk foam bubble tea, taste similar to what I had back in HK.
